Engagement Photoshoot Portfolio

Before the dress and the timeline and the wedding day details, there’s just the two of you—the way you laugh together, the way you move toward each other without even thinking, the stories you share that no one else quite knows the same way. That’s where your engagement session lives—not in poses, but in connection.

This part of your story is worth remembering. These are the days of planning a future together, dreaming out loud, and building a life that feels stronger simply because you’re holding on to the same direction. Engagement photos shouldn’t feel like a checklist item. They should feel like a date—maybe one where you dress a little better than usual, where time slows down and you rediscover not just how you look together, but who you are together.

Most of the sessions you’ll see here were photographed around Maine—the rocky coastline at low tide, quiet coves at sunset, hidden pine forests, and wide-open fields that light up in summer. The scenery is beautiful, but it’s never the main character—you are. We don’t force anything. No awkward staging or stiff posing. We create space for genuine connection: quiet moments, wild laughter, forehead kisses, tangled hugs, and the kind of closeness that looks effortless because it is.

We guide you through everything so you never feel unsure of what to do. You’ll move, breathe, interact, and get lost in each other, and I’ll help shape the moment without ever getting in the way of it. My job is to watch for the small things—the way your hands fit together, the way your eyes soften when you’re close, the way your shoulders relax when you forget the camera is there.

Every couple arrives with their own story—some playful and loud, others soft and quiet. Some have been together since high school, others found each other unexpectedly later on. No two sessions are the same because no two love stories are the same. The images we create together should feel like your relationship—unpolished, meaningful, and unmistakably you.

As you scroll through the galleries below, imagine where your session might unfold. Maybe it’s on the coast, maybe in the woods, maybe in the city—or maybe somewhere that already means something to the two of you. Wherever we go, the goal is the same: make images that feel real now and still feel real 20 years from now.

If these photographs speak to you—if you’re drawn to connection and emotion and honesty more than poses—I’d love to talk about creating something beautiful with you. When you’re ready, reach out and let’s start planning a session that feels like home.
