Dress Collection

Sometimes my studio projects get a little elaborate. I get an idea, and I start building, and later I remember that I'm photographer, and not a stage-production crew, but that happens after I've built something.

When I talked with MacKenzie about coming into the studio, she told me she had a dress collection she wanted to bring, and I thought, time to buy some lumber! I have a friend who has a doll collection (it's true!), and they're lined up on shelves in boxes, just like this. That's what I wanted to create.

These several boxes are just one box of course, duplicated in photoshop to seem like a series of doll-boxes lined up on a shelf. I've had seniors bring in different cheer outfits, dance costumes, and even different bathing suits since building it. And the collection-style images look good with as few as 3 different looks, to as many as 12!
