At Focus Photography, we show a lot of very directed senior portraits, but in between those images I also take a lot of more candid images, like this shot of Amelia walking.
This isn't a perfect portrait (I wish her left arm were bent and we could see that hand; I wish her hair wasn't in her eyes), but it is a perfect moment. Amelia was walking along the grasses, and laughing at something her mom said.
Two minutes later we did shoot several perfectly composed portraits, but we also find the moments in between posed shots to hold a lot of the magic of your senior photo shoot.
