A Destination Wedding at the Wentworth by the Sea

Shannon and Jamie, along with 50 of their closest friends and family, flew to New Hampshire from Maryland in February for a leap day wedding! How much fun is that?

For us, this was our last event before the Coronavirus locked down the country. If you’re stuck at home in isolation, we hope these images will put a smile on your face.

Before the Ceremony

Shannon had this beautiful dress custom made for her by Liz Simon of Dryden Bridal.

This is the back stairwell from the Grand Ballroom which leads to the bridal suite. I’ve never seen this wainscotting anywhere else in the Wentworth, and I suspect the little heart cutouts were made specifically to be outside the bride’s door. I ♥ this!

The First Look

Shannon and James saw each other before the ceremony to do their pictures beforehand. Here is their first look at each other.

Cocktail and Party

Shannon and Jamie had (among many other interesting stations) an oyster bar, where you had a choice of 5 vodkas poured on top a freshly-shucked oyster.
