A Styled Shoot at the VBTS

Back in August we did something wedding vendors call a Styled Shoot with some of the preferred vendors (see list and links below) at the Village By The Sea in Wells.

I’ve done a lot of these Styled Shoots over the years, and I always give this disclaimer when showing the images – this isn’t a real wedding! It’s pretend – a chance for us to showcase a venue with some different rentals and colors than couples normally choose.

The bride is my friend Lela (who has modelled for me before), and the groom works with the rental company – and they had never met before the shoot. I think we captured some pretty romantic shots of the two of them – imagine what we can do for you with a real spouse!

Here’s a fun detail we missed for this styled shoot – the dress we picked (on the bust form) didn’t fit Lela, and we ended up using a different dress!

A quick update – since this photoshoot, the VBTS has redone the ceiling shown in this picture. Gone are the acoustic tiles, and now they have a solid sheetrock ceiling, with LED lights along the perimeter for additional mood lighting!
