Here’s a few of our favorite images from a styled shoot we did with Maine Event Design and Decor recently at the beautiful William Allen Farm. If you don’t know, styled shoots provide an opportunity for event designers (like Robyn and Rachel Allen who own M.E.D.&D.) to showcase their creativity and highlight some new trends. We’ve worked with Robyn and Rachel before and have always loved the fabric draping they do, but this was my first chance to see how great their lighting and floral design skills are.
Rachel Rivera and Patrick agreed to come and get married for authenticity (no, but they look the part of the bride and groom), and I’m deeply indebted to them. Heidi and Al Curry (who own and operate the William Allen Farm) were gracious hosts and let us have the run of the property. And One Stop Event Rentals in South Portland provided the awesome table decor, dishes, and place ware.
Here’s a few things you should look for in the images: Hanging flowers (never lean around a centerpiece again!); a hanging cake; the William Allen Farm’s killer bridal suite; miles of red satin transforming the barn; the hanging garden over the head table; and the last really great day of fall. I hope you like the images, and thanks for looking.
