Peaks Island is still amazing to me even after living in Portland for 11 years. It’s just a 15 minute boat road from Portland, but it feels like a vacation destination hours away. Jelena and Pete are from the DC area, but as soon as they saw the Inn on Peaks, they booked it for their wedding. It’s got that kind of magnetism.
I should say a few quick words about the Inn before I show the wedding images. Fred and Judy (owners) have done a fabulous job decorating the Inn on Peaks. It’s a perfect inn for a weekend or week-long stay unwinding on a small island. The rooms are coastal-themed, and any time of day you can drink a Shipyard on the front porch and unwind. The wedding coordinator, Jayson Mathieu, does a great job keeping weddings relaxed and stress-free.
