New Hampshire Weddings

Focus Photography has been helping New Hampshire couples document their weddings since we opened our studio in 2005.  We’re based in Southern Maine, but we shoot more weddings in New Hampshire than we do in Maine (go figure!).

Since we opened our wedding studio in 2005, we’ve photographed weddings from Seabrook to Keene, and North to Mt. Washington.

Here are a few statistics about NH weddings you may not know:

43% of all NH weddings happen in the Fall!  It’s true, summer is not the busiest season here, because or foliage is such a beautiful background.
The Mt. Washington Hotel isn’t the only place to get married in the New Hampshire Mountains!  A little known fact, there are dozens of other venues with great mountain views (like the Mountain View Grand, Castle in the Clouds, Stonehurst Manor and the Grand Summit at Attatash) .
New Hampshire no longer has the lowest permitted age for marriage in the country (that goes to Missouri where it belongs).  Until 2019, you could get married in NH at 13!  The average age for a NH bride is 28, but that tween-age possibility was freaky.
Vineyards, wedding barns, and private estates account for over 30% of New Hampshire’s 9,000+ weddings each year!
