We’ve photographed weddings at some beautiful churches over the years. Portland’s Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception: Boston’s St. Leonard’s in the North End; and St. Andrew’s by the Sea in Rye, NH are some of our all-time favorites. But they all have one fatal flaw – none of these traditional ceremony sites serve beer!
Rachel and Billy solved this huge dilemma by renting their favorite brewery for a few hours, and starting their wedding day with a trip to a pub. Genius, right? A pre-party party.
After beers everyone headed over to their reception at a brand new venue in the Biddeford/Saco mill complex, the Forge on the Falls.
I hope you love the pictures – I had a great time at this wedding creating them! Will

This is actually the same dress, and she ordered it in two colors.Choosing to have your ceremony at a brewery shows true love – for beer! Rachel and Billy even incorporated the Island Dog’s beer into their wedding ceremony. Rachel’s favorite beer, and Billy’s favorite beer, joined together to create something new. Before heading out to the Saco Mill for the reception, we shot a few more portraits in the beautiful pastoral yard that is….the Island Dog’s parking lot. It looks pretty, right?
