Fall weddings can be magical – if the weather cooperates. Sam and Sean’s day started off cold, but by 10 am when the ceremony started, the sun was warming up the Maine coast, and the day got prettier by the minute.
Their ceremony was at the base of the Camden Library in the Amphitheatre (I would spell it Camden Amphitheater, but I’d be wrong), and their reception was in Rockport Harbor at the Union Hall. Union Hall is one of the terrific wedding venues Camden Maine has to offer, even in the town next door, and is operated by Bay View Collection.

The First Look
When couples want to do their wedding pictures before their ceremony, we arrange a first look so we can still capture the surprise and excitement on the groom’s face when he first sees the bride in her wedding dress.
The Ceremony at the Camden Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre is a fabulous plot of land at the base of the Camden library and across the street from Harbor Park. Sam and Katrina (the bride’s mom) walked down the aisle togetherSam and Sean had their sisters and moms stand with them, and their friend Ashley performed their ceremony.The ribbons are part of a hand fasting ceremony, which produces a decorative knot to commemorate the wedding.
