If you know Emily and Sam, you’re aware that the path to this ceremony wasn’t a smooth one. There were a few hiccups (a whole lot of hiccups?) leading up to the wedding, and then on the day itself.
And then at 1:59 pm, the moment that Emily and Sam saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, the run of bad luck ended. Color rushed back into Emily’s face, joy came back to the wedding party, and they had a magnificent party that won’t be forgotten.
Huey Lewis said it best: That’s the Power of Love. Of course, that was in the eighties, and I should get Back to the Future. Sorry.

It’s been a minute since we were last at the Dunegrass, and it definitely did not have Plantation Shutters or Chiavari chairs the last time we were here. There have been a lot of upgrades over the last couple years that really elevate the feeling of the space. This photo shows about 35% of the total space.One of my favorite things at the Dunegrass is how open the ballroom is! Most other event rooms have columns supporting the ceiling, and for photographs, those make it hard to see the grandness of a space. That’s right – Sam cut the cake with a sword while wearing a cloak! A surprise from Emily.
