The Village by the Sea is located on route 1 in the southern Maine town of Wells. It is a condominium hotel, meaning that all of the rooms are separately owned condo suites, but they’re all managed by one company.
They also have a wedding facility that is constantly improving. There’s a ceremony site on the front lawn, a bridal suite upstairs for getting ready, a barn room for cocktails or rehearsal dinners, and a ballroom looking onto the ceremony site.

This is Erin and Trevor, who got married at the Laurel Hill Chapel in Saco, and then had their reception at the Coastal House in Wells, Maine. We asked Erin to tell us a little about their wedding, some of the details of the event, and what she liked most on her wedding day. I hope you enjoy hearing about it!
