The William Allen Farm (and its 200 year old Barn!) started a wedding revolution in Maine when it re-invented what wedding venues could look like.
Instead of a function hall with bright overhead lights and drop ceilings, they gave Maine wedding couples the option to have a more organic reception, on a sixty acre farm just 20 minutes from Portland.
The experience that guests of the William Allen Farm have had has launched an industry of Barn Weddings that tries to replicate what owners Heidi and Al have created at the William Allen Farm.

Marina and Will were married at Boothbay Harbor’s Our Lady Queen Of Peace (which has a beautiful, waterfront view. We went to Barrett’s Park for a few pictures, and then met up with their families on the docks of Spruce Point for wedding pictures with a water background. Are You Looking For The Best Photographers For Your William Allen Farm Wedding?
Congratulations – You’ve Found Us!
We’re Will and Lucia – the photographers behind Focus Photography.
Drop your details into the form on the right, and we’ll send you our wedding guide and price list.
Though Focus Photography kind of sounds like a whole team of photographers, it’s just the two of us that shot everything on this site.
The upside – you’re going to work the photographers who created all the images we show, and not an ‘apprentice’ we brought on last month.
But the downside is, we can only shoot one wedding a day, and 30 in a season, so we do ask you to put your date on the form on the right so we can ensure we’re still available!
