Wolf and Harp Wedding Kristin Tim
A Winter Wonderland Wedding at Wolf and Harp in Norway, Maine
There’s something truly magical about a winter wedding in Maine, and Kristin and Tim’s celebration at Wolf and Harp in Norway, Maine was nothing short of spectacular. As Lucia and I pulled up to this stunning venue on that crisp February morning, the sun was glistening off the freshly fallen snow, creating a picturesque winter scene that set the perfect backdrop for their special day.
I’d like to take a moment to thank the incredible vendors who helped make this day absolutely perfect. From the unique wooden flowers crafted by Blue Dahlia, to the incredible dress by Portland’s Wedding Angels, the team effort truly shined. Special appreciation goes to Michelle, a friend of the couple who officiated the ceremony, Grace Libby from Highlighting the Good for hair styling, Amber for makeup artistry, and of course, Kelsey and the amazing team at Wolf and Harp for hosting such a beautiful event.

Morning Preparations: Starting the Day in Cozy Comfort
The day began in the welcoming main house at Wolf and Harp, where Kristin, Tim, and their closest friends and family prepared for the day ahead. The spacious residence provided the perfect setting for these intimate morning moments. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, anticipation, and just the right amount of nervous energy as everyone got ready for the celebrations to come.
Kristin looked absolutely radiant in her gown from Wedding Angels in Portland. The dress complemented her perfectly, capturing both elegance and the winter theme of the day. As her makeup and hair were being finalized, I caught glimpses of genuine emotion that told the story of how special this day truly was.

An Outdoor Ceremony: Embracing the Winter Beauty

One of the most unique aspects of Kristin and Tim’s wedding was their decision to hold their ceremony outdoors in February! The Ceremony Patio in the back yard of Wolf and Harp was meticulously prepared for the occasion, elevated above the snow-covered grounds and carefully cleared of ice and snow. This outdoor ceremony space offered breathtaking views of the snow-covered Maine landscape while keeping guests comfortable.
As Kristin made her way down the aisle, the bright winter sun created a natural spotlight, illuminating the couple as they exchanged their vows. The contrast of their ceremony against the snowy backdrop created absolutely stunning photo opportunities that truly captured the essence of a Maine winter wedding.

Capturing Love in the Snow: Photo Opportunities on the Grounds
Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the venue’s picturesque grounds for photos. Wolf and Harp offers an abundance of beautiful settings, and the blanket of snow added an extra layer of magic to every shot. The couple’s genuine love and joy radiated through each image as we explored the property, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
The natural beauty of Norway, Maine in winter provided an effortless backdrop that showcased the couple’s personalities and the authentic emotions of their special day. These moments on the grounds allowed Kristin and Tim to take a breath and soak in the reality that they were now married, creating some of the most genuine and heartfelt photos of the day.

Celebration Time: A Reception to Remember
The reception was held in the beautiful barn at Wolf and Harp, which had been transformed into a cozy and elegant space for the evening festivities. The wooden beams and rustic charm of the barn created the perfect atmosphere for celebration, offering that authentic Maine wedding experience that so many couples dream of.

One of the venue’s standout features that guests particularly enjoyed was the speakeasy bar located in the basement, providing a unique and fun element to the reception. This hidden gem became a favorite spot throughout the evening, offering a touch of vintage charm to the celebrations.
Fireball
Here’s what I haven’t mentioned so far – the incredible volume of Fireball shots Kristin and Tim drank throughout the day and night. There was even an ice sculpture for doing Fireball Luge-Style!
