The Village by the Sea is a condo community that rents owner units hotel-style – it’s a great way to vacation in Wells. They also run a function hall that is really popular for weddings, and each year they reinvest in the wedding grounds to make it nicer. Which sounds like it should be a standard business practice, but it’s surprising how infrequently we see wedding venues being updated.

Anyway, Heather and JR had a Christmas weddding at the VBTS, and even decorated the outdoor pergola, so despite it being colder-than-freezing, they were going to be photographed out there. We’re just lucky they were such good sports about it.
