Maine Weddings
100 or so of our favorite weddings in Maine
Even if we weren’t based in Portland, Maine (we are), we’d love Maine Weddings! Not only because our summers are the most gorgeous and temperate of any state in the Union (they are), but also because Maine Weddings are the most authentic and real, and we’ve worked in more than half the states in the country.
Just to give you a sampling, here are a handful of galleries from popular resorts like the Samoset Resort, The Colony Hotel, The Westin in Portland, and the Nonantum Resort. After that, we have the last 30 or so Maine weddings we’ve shot from other favorite venues, including the Red Barn at Outlook Farm; Ocean Gateway, the Portland Masonic, and Grace in Portland; Favorite Barns, including River Winds and The Hitching Post; Southern Maine favorites like the Stage Neck Inn; the Cliff House; the Union Bluff, and Village by the Sea.
Samoset Resort Weddings
We love working at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, both because of our familiarity with the Midcoast region (Will’s family lives in Camden), as well as because the golf course provides stunning backdrops for the scenic romantic images we’re known for.
Colony Hotel Weddings
The Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport is a venue where we’ve made many of our portfolio images. With it’s stellar grounds and proximity to the beach, there are few resorts better suited for a Maine wedding than the Colony.
Westin Portland Harborview Hotel Weddings
The name is a mouthful. What’s wrong with weddings at the Westin, or even Westin weddings in Portland Maine? However you want to say it, the Westin has been one of our favorite wedding venues in Portland, Maine since they were known as the Eastland Park Hotel.
Nonantum Resort Weddings
The very first wedding show we eved did was at the Nonantum Resort, and we booked a beautiful tented wedding reception on their back lawn that was as gorgeous as anywhere in the world. We didn’t realize at that first show how much we would grow to love working Nonantum weddings, but it’s one of our favorite wedding venues.
