Jelena and Pete brought their closest family and friends to Peaks Island for a truly unforgettable destination wedding in Casco Bay, and I was lucky enough to capture it all. The Inn on Peaks Island, just a ferry ride from downtown Portland, set the scene for a day full of elegance, emotion, and a little island magic. It was everything you could hope for in a Maine coastal wedding — charming, beautiful, and perfectly relaxed.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wedding was something special. Jayson and the team at the Inn on Peaks made everything run like clockwork, while Laurie Andrews of Laurie Andrews Design completely transformed the venue with breathtaking florals, unique design touches, and gorgeous lounge areas that gave the space a luxe, coastal vibe. Jelena looked stunning in a gown by Matthew Christopher, and Lisa from Bei Capelli worked her magic on hair and makeup. The ceremony, officiated by Diane York, took place on the lawn just steps from the sea, with Casco Bay providing the most spectacular natural backdrop.

After the ceremony, the party truly kicked off — complete with an island sunset, live music by Athene Wilson, and a custom cake by Foley’s Cakes that had everyone reaching for seconds. Guests arrived via Casco Bay Cruise Lines, which added to the destination wedding feel and made the entire experience feel like a private getaway. As a photographer, I’m always excited for weddings that are both visually stunning and full of personality — and Jelena and Pete’s wedding at the Inn on Peaks Island was the perfect blend of both.
