Katie and Jan’s Wedding at St. Andrew’s by the Sea and Blue Ocean Event Center
Katie and Jan’s wedding was a picture-perfect coastal celebration, stretching from the charming seaside of Rye, New Hampshire to the vibrant shores of Salisbury, Massachusetts. They began their day at Katie’s parents’ home, where she got ready surrounded by family and friends, before heading to her grandfather’s beachfront house for portraits that felt straight out of a classic New England summer. The energy, light, and love were present from the start—and the settings were a dream for wedding photography on the Seacoast.
The ceremony took place at St. Andrew’s by the Sea, a historic stone chapel in Rye with incredible character and views. After saying “I do,” Katie and Jan made their way to the reception at the Blue Ocean Event Center, one of the region’s most dynamic oceanfront venues. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Atlantic and space designed for celebration, it’s the perfect setting for a dance-filled night—especially with District 21, one of Boston’s best live bands, keeping the party going strong.
Katie wore a gorgeous gown from Madeleine’s Daughter, and her look was completed by hair and makeup from My Reis Salon. Her bouquet and floral arrangements, designed by Cymbidium Floral, added fresh, vibrant color to every space. Guests were treated to a custom cake from Chickadee Hill, and Katie’s dad even brought out his classic Ford Model B for a few unforgettable photo ops. Every detail added a touch of personality and charm to a day already overflowing with heart.
If you’re planning a wedding with coastal views, historic touches, and space to party, Katie and Jan’s celebration is all the inspiration you need. From St. Andrew’s by the Sea to the Blue Ocean Event Center, this day was an amazing example of what’s possible with great planning, great people, and a whole lot of joy. If you’re looking for someone to capture your story, I’d love to help.
