Sam and Steve | The Wentworth by the Sea

Sam and Steve’s wedding day at Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, New Hampshire was pure magic — the kind of fall day photographers dream about. With crisp October air, warm golden light, and just the right amount of autumn color, it was the perfect setting for their heartfelt celebration. Their ceremony took place outside on the beautifully manicured lawn, surrounded by family, friends, and that unmistakable coastal New England charm.

After the “I dos,” we headed down to the marina for portraits. The boats, calm water, and warm afternoon light made for a stunning portrait session — one of those moments where everything just clicks. Wedding photography at Wentworth by the Sea always feels special, but Sam and Steve brought such a relaxed, genuine energy that it made the day (and the images!) that much more beautiful.

But the real surprise came during the reception. Just when guests thought they were settling into the usual speeches and dancing, Sam’s parents had secretly arranged for a full-on Broadway flash mob! Performers burst into song with some of the couple’s favorite show tunes, turning the reception into a musical theatre dream come true. It was one of the most joyful, unexpected moments I’ve ever photographed, and you could see how much it meant to Sam and Steve.
