Samantha & Justin | Samoset Resort

Samantha and Justin traveled up the coast from Portland to celebrate their wedding at one of our favorite venues, the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine. Their big day took place on a picture-perfect Sunday during Labor Day weekend, with sun, ocean views, and a ceremony filled with meaningful moments. From the first look to the final dance, this day was a joy to photograph — full of personality, beauty, and love.

Before their coastal Maine wedding ceremony, Samantha and Justin shared a private first look, followed by the signing of their Ketubah — a powerful and traditional part of Jewish wedding ceremonies. Their young son Grady stole the show being pulled down the aisle in a wagon, setting the tone for a ceremony that was heartfelt, joyful, and filled with connection. The ceremony took place just feet from the edge of Penobscot Bay, with stunning ocean views as the backdrop for their vows.

As always, Will Clayton and the team at the Samoset coordinated the day to perfection. The reception featured music by Greg from NorthEast DJs, who not only brought the best-looking DJ booth we’ve ever seen, but also packed the dance floor from start to finish. One of the highlights? Samantha and Justin were both lifted into the air during the Hora, surrounded by cheers, dancing, and celebration — a moment we’ll never forget!
