Ask any experienced photographer what the most important thing to them is when shooting a wedding, and you’ll probably hear ‘Time’. The timeline for a wedding day determines the number of photographic opportunities. When Michelle and Ray planned their wedding, they knew they wanted a receiving line after their ceremony, photos with their wedding party in the park, romantic shots of them alone in downtown Portsmouth, and family group shots, and then they still wanted to be there for the cocktail party.
Rather than squeeze everything in to a half hour scramble, they simply planned appropriately, let their guests enjoy Portsmouth on a trolley car, and scheduled the cocktail party to start three hours after the ceremony. Brilliant!!!
They had a wedding without stress, rushing, or panic, and got everything they wanted. I really like the images at the water. Enjoy.
