It has to rain on a few weddings – that’s not me being cynical, it’s a statistical fact.  I don’t like it, but there it is.  One of the nicest couples ever got married in October, and it poured.  

I’d like to introduce you to Taryn and Jim.  Taryn is the former wedding coordinator for the Dunegrass Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach, and she had her own wedding there just a week after leaving their staff – to become a nurse, if you’re interested.  Jim is a sportsman, a fisherman, and a really good guy.  See, they deserve a sunny day.

It didn’t happen.  Actually, it poured like a hurricane was passing by.  Had the winds of a hurricane too.  Did you notice no one looks miserable?  It’s clearly raining outside, but no one is miserable.  The only person unhappy about it was me, and only because I had all these spots picked out on the golf course to photograph this great looking couple that I adore.  They didn’t care – they had a ceremony, a party, and at the end of the day they’re married to each other.
