We met Sarah and Craig last November when Sarah’s sister Emily was married, and we were delighted when they called us this year to say they were engaged.
They had a beautiful wedding on a day that was forecasted to be anything but that. In this summer of storms, their Saturday had lightning marks all day long. Oh, and it was an outdoor wedding and a tented reception. Sarah’s parents Michael and Marie must have made a special donation to the diocese to get this miracle pulled off.
Getting ready was at the AC Hotel in Portland; first look was at Bug Light in SoPo; the ceremony was at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth; and the tented reception was at Sarah’s parent’s new home in North Yarmouth.

Sarah had these cuff links made for Craig – super cool!
First Look – Bug Light
Check out Craig’s boutennierre – a little floral arrangement, instead of a big, easily-broken flower.
Craig at Bug’s Light. Fun fact, Allen’s coffee brandy is now available in a bug light collectible bottle (it’s true).
This is the first time I’ve had a bride pull up to the first look in a Limo! Kudos to the drivers from Maine Limo, who went offroad several times to deliver the bride and her family so they wouldn’t have to walk excessively in the heat.
Ceremony – Fort Williams

This is Fort Williams, in Cape Elizabeth, ME, and this is the view your guests will have.
