At every wedding, the couple is excited about things that are personal to them. Sometimes I expect it, like when Jennifer told me how excited she was to wear a wedding gown. I often hear that people are excited for the cake, or for their band or dj. I expect those things.

But then there’s Kelly, and her wedding shoes.

I’ve seen brides wear Manolo Blahniks; Jimmy Choos; and Christian Louboutins. None of the brides that wore those designer pumps were as excited as Kelly was for a new pair of….Skechers. In her words: “I hate shoes, and I really thought Jen was going to insist that I wear actual shoes! I can wear these all day, and I can dance all night!” And she did.
