Brigid and George’s wedding was at the Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, NH, and if you’ve ever looked at our blog before, you probably know we love it there! We work in a lot of really cool spots, but the Wentworth is consistently fabulous, and this September wedding was no different.

Before The Ceremony
David Nicholas headed up a crew of four (4!) to do the bridal party’s make up, and they were finished exactly on time.
Pierre and Salina got rave reviews from the bridal party!
Brigid’s gown was by Maggie Sotero.
Aren’t these ceremony flowers beautiful? Jardinierre, out of Portsmouth, always does such a great job!
The Ceremony
Ceremony on the back lawn of the Wentworth by the Sea
Just this year the Wentworth started having larger ceremonies down on the lawn behind the gazebo, giving the guests much more room, as well as better views. This is one of the brilliant changes that Laura Abraham Long made when she came to the WBTS.
This cake from Jacque’s Pastries was amazing! Classic elegance on one side, and superhero on the other. Good symbolism for the bride and groom.
DJ Mike from C-Zone Entertainment kept the dance floor busy and also provided the beautiful up-lighting that transformed the ballroom.
Thanks for making it all the way to the bottom of the post! We had a great time at this wedding, and we’re thrilled to have been a part of it. As promised above, here’s the ballroom just before the doors were thrown open.
Hey, in case you didn’t pick it up in the article, I LOVED the schizophrenic cake that Jacques made!
